Clothes Swap?

Posted in Interest, Life by thisisanexperiment on February 20, 2009

Throw a clothes swapping party with friends.  You and your friends are guaranteed a fabulous time when you gather together for a night of fun and friendship. You can serve food and drinks while selling your clothes for a dollar.  Whatever you make from the party can be donated to a charity and the remaining clothes can be given to your favorite thrift shop.

Things I do have:

Items (tee-shirts, a dress or two, miscellaneous items) that I am thinking of Finding New Homes for.

Now that I have ABIT of free time, I’ll try to bugger down and get to Finding New Homes for them.

If you have any clothes or anything that’s no longer your style, this is a good idea to (a) earn a bit of money, or (b) gain ‘new’ items and give away some old ones, at minimum expense!

FORGET FASHION WEEK…. THIS WEEK IS NATIONAL CLOTHES SWAPPING WEEK!!

The UK’s first ever National Clothes Swapping Week (organised by http://www.Bigwardrobe.com, the Internet’s biggest clothes swapping website) started last Friday – to coincide with London Fashion Week. Fashion fans everywhere are being urged to dig out their unwanted items and list them on Bigwardrobe.com for the busiest and most successful week of clothes swapping in history! The founders of Bigwardrobe.com hope to show people that you don’t have to travel to a fashion capital like London or Paris or Milan – or even spend a single penny – to be 100% on-trend. Happy swapping xxx
